You'll learn coping skills: because c-section surgery is not 100% free of sensation. Quite the opposite. When you give birth by cesarean there will be a lot for you and your partner to cope with. And you'll want to know everything about the possible sensations so you're not blindsided and can fully enjoy meeting your beautiful new baby!

Did you know that monitoring your baby's heart rate when you are in labor is one of the most important & primary ways that your midwife or doctor monitors the well-being of your baby? Likely you did know that, but maybe you didn't know you had a choice to make here? There a few ways FHR (fetal heart rate) can be observed, and you do have options to choose from.
Learn your options, what each choice could mean (there are downsides and risks) and include your choice in your birth plan. It's good to be educated about when a certain option might be more ideal than another. Learn all the consequences of each choice.
